How do I download and install Mobatech software?
Purchasing Mobatech software for your mobile phone is now easier than ever. Just follow these three simple steps:
1. Select the product you would like to purchase from the following page: Mobatech Products.
2. Select the purchase button and enter your carrier, device type and mobile number.
3. After completing your purchase, you will receive a text message that includes a download link. Select the link in the text message and your Mobatech software will automatically be downloaded and installed directly to your handset.

*Please note that installing Mobatech software over-the-air requires that your phone has web access. If you are not sure
whether or not your rate plan includes web access, please contact your wireless provider.

I do not see my handset listed when checking out. Can I still purchase for my phone?
If your handset is not listed after selecting your wireless service provider on the Checkout page, it is most likely not currently compatible with Mobatech software.
We are working to add additional devices on a daily basis, so please check back often or e-mail support@mobatech.com to ask about your specific device at any time.

Is there a monthly fee associated with using Mobile Checkbook?
There is no monthly fee for using any Mobatech product in addition to your standard cellular rate plan.

Will I be using my phone minutes when using Mobile Checkbook?
You will not be using any of your cellular minutes when using a Mobatech application. In fact, Mobatech products will
work even if you had no cell phone signal at all! Mobatech software is installed on to your phone
in a similar fashion that software is installed onto a desktop or notebook computer and will run directly
off of your phone without any connection required.

Why should I use Mobile Checkbook?

method of payment for consumers has changed, the idea of keeping track of one's bank account remains as important as ever.
The account statements and balances obtained from your bank's web site or from ATM machines are often misleading
because they do not always include your recent transactions or checks that have not yet cleared. This often leads to
individuals having a false sense of their account balance and overdrafting their account. The only way to
always know your exact balance is to record transactions when you make them. Mobile Checkbook makes this process fast and convenient.

Mobile Checkbook 3.0 is currently available to Cingular Wireless, AT&T Wireless, T-Mobile, SprintPCS, Alltel and SunCom customers and can be purchased by clicking

What phones will Mobile Checkbook work on?
Mobile Checkbook will work on any Java enabled phone. In order to use Mobile Checkbook 3.0's e-mail functionality, your
Java enabled phone must be able to access your wireless carrier's data network. Obtaining access to your carrier's data
network usually involves adding this feature to your standard rate plan. For more information on this process,
please contact Mobatech Support or your wireless provider.

What steps are involved in entering a transaction?
Recording transactions requires three quick and easy steps.
1) Select whether you are recording a withdrawal or deposit.
2) Enter the amount of your transaction.
3) Enter an optional transaction payee, memo or check number.
The date and time of your transaction is automatically stored for your convenience. This information can be modified when
entering a transaction or after one has already been stored.

How can I remove previously recorded transactions?
Mobile Checkbook provides two options for removing transactions.
1) Delete Transaction is used to void a previously recorded transaction and permanetly remove it from the Transaction List.
This option should be used if a transaction is incorrectly recorded and needs to be removed instead of modified.
2) Clear History is used to clear one or more transactions from the Transaction List. Clear History does not affect your current account balance.
This option should be used to free up storage space on your phone or if you would like to shorten the list of transactions on
your Transaction List.
To clear all of your transactions select the most recent transaction you have recorded from your 'Transaction List'. This will be the entry
located at the bottom of the 'Transaction List'. Choose the 'Edit' option and
then 'Clear'History'. When you select 'Clear History' the transaction that is currently selected and all prior transactions are cleared.

When entering transaction descriptions, how do I make it type single letters instead of word combinations?
The predictive text is a feature built into many new handsets called T9.
T9 is designed to make it easier to input words but it can be a bit confusing at first.
When you are entering a word such as "test", you would enter "8378" with each number only being pressed once.
T9 will automatically recognize that you are trying to enter the word "test".
On older phones you would have to type 8 for T, then 33 for E, 7777 for S and 8 again for T.
As you can see, with T9 you only have to enter 4 numbers to get the same word so it is much much faster.
If you do not want to use T9, select the menu button when you are in a text field and switch from "Word" to "Alpha".

How do I install the application I purchased for my BlackBerry handheld?
- Extract the .COD and .ALX files found in the .ZIP file you downloaded. The files can be extracted into a temporary directory.
- Start the RIM Desktop Manager.
- Choose "Application Loader".
- Choose "Add Available Optional Applications" and go to the uzipped files.
- Select the .ALX file to begin the installation.
